VPN Subscription and Client Setup

Follow the setup from account creation through exit-location verification. Skip any steps you've already completed.

Create an account: username and password

Start at the account creation page in the VPNZW user dashboard. No email address is required; you can get started with a username and password. Choose a username you can remember and set a unique password for this service. If you use a password manager, save the login page and account details together so you can find them easily on other devices.

After submitting the form, follow the on-screen instructions to access your account. If the username is taken, choose another and try again. If a required field is missing, check that field rather than repeatedly refreshing the page. Once your account is created, make sure the dashboard shows the account you just used, then continue to plan selection. Manage your orders, subscription, and support tickets through this account.

This guide covers account creation and plan activation separately. Being able to access the dashboard does not mean your subscription has active data available. Save your login details securely before moving on. When you switch devices, sign in with the same account; you don't need a separate account for each device. There is no limit on the number of devices that can be online at the same time.

Choose a plan: check data and billing

Open the plans section in the dashboard and compare monthly plans with data packages. Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB, for ongoing use. Data packages include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB; they remain valid indefinitely until used. Choose based on how you expect to use the service, not price alone.

Monthly plan data resets each month on the activation date, not at the start of a calendar month. If you upgrade partway through a billing period, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Read the details shown for your selected plan in the dashboard, then confirm the plan name, amount, and billing terms on the order. Data packages follow different rules from monthly plans; don't assume that monthly plan data also remains valid indefinitely.

After confirming your order, follow the dashboard instructions to pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. When payment is complete, return to the user dashboard and check the order status and plan details in your account overview. If the payment page shows completion but the dashboard hasn't updated, check the current order before trying again. If you've been charged and the order status is still incorrect, submit the relevant order details through a dashboard support ticket.

VPNZW offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. See the Terms of Service for details on how to request a refund. Confirm that your plan is active and has data available before getting your subscription. This helps distinguish an inactive plan from a client import issue.

Get your subscription from the account overview

After signing in to the user dashboard, open your account overview and find the subscription section. The subscription link lets your client retrieve the configuration and route list for your account. It isn't a regular webpage or an app download link. Sign in to get your subscription, and use only the link in your own account—never use one forwarded by someone else.

If the account overview offers an import option for your client, install the client as prompted, then return to the overview to start the import. Your browser may ask permission to open an app; check that it's the client you intend to use before continuing. If the app doesn't open automatically or your device doesn't recognize it, copy the subscription link and import it manually from the client.

For a manual import, copy the entire link. Don't select only the portion visible on screen or change any parameters at the end. Paste it directly into the client to avoid passing it through chat apps. The subscription link contains information needed to access your configuration, so protect it like your account password. Before sharing screenshots, screen recordings, or support tickets, hide the full link and any identifying details.

This page does not display usable subscription URLs. Use only the link from your own account overview. If you can't find the subscription option, first check that you're signed in to the right account and that your plan is active, then see the FAQ. Once you have the link, keep the dashboard open and continue with the import steps for your device.

Import the client for your device

Get the VPNZW client for your platform from the client downloads section in the user dashboard. After signing in, you can download the Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux clients without purchasing a plan; an active account is still required to get a usable subscription. The iOS option depends on account eligibility shown in the dashboard. The steps below cover clients that support subscription imports; available import methods may vary, so follow the dashboard instructions.

Installation and import are separate steps. Installation makes the client available on your device; importing adds your account configuration. After importing, check the configuration name and route list before connecting. If the client already contains configurations for other services, make sure the newly imported one is selected before testing so you don't use an old route by mistake.

Windows: subscription-based desktop clients

Sign in to the dashboard, open the downloads section, and select the Windows option. Get and install the VPNZW client as instructed. When you first open it, look for the subscription or configuration manager. If the account overview offers automatic import, return to your browser and start the import there. When the system asks to open an app, check its name before confirming.

To import manually, open configuration management, choose Import from link or URL, paste the subscription link, and save it. Wait for the client to download the configuration and display the route list. Set the imported configuration as the active one, then open the connection screen. If the client keeps running in the system tray after its window closes, reopen it from the tray to check the connection status. Don't assume the connection is off just because the window isn't visible.

macOS: desktop clients with subscription import

Choose the VPNZW client for your Mac in the dashboard and follow the download instructions to install it. Open the app and add a remote configuration from the subscription or configuration page. Automatic import usually opens the client from your browser. If the browser doesn't launch the app, return to your account overview, copy the link, and add it from within the client.

After saving the configuration, update it and check that the route list appears. Then choose the exit location you want to use. The first time you connect, the system may ask you to approve network permissions. Check which app is making the request and follow the system prompts. Importing a configuration alone doesn't confirm that access is working; after granting permission, verify the connection using the steps at the end of this guide.

Android: mobile clients with subscription management

Open the Android client option from the user dashboard, then install and launch the app as instructed. Return to the account overview and use the import option, or copy the subscription link and choose Add from link in the app's configuration or subscription manager. Save and update the import, wait for the route list to appear, then select the configuration you just added.

After tapping Connect, Android may show a system prompt to authorize the VPN connection. Check that the app and action are expected, then continue. Check the connection status in the client and look for the corresponding network indicator in the system. If it works in the foreground but disconnects in the background, note what happens and check the background-app steps in the Troubleshooting Guide. Don't immediately delete and re-import the subscription.

iOS: mobile client access based on account eligibility

Sign in to the user dashboard first and check for the iOS download option. Accounts with an active, unexpired plan can access the corresponding option as shown in the dashboard; for other account statuses, follow the instructions displayed there. Download the VPNZW client only from this option. Don't search elsewhere for apps with similar names or use an unfamiliar configuration profile in place of the client.

After installation, return to your account overview and use the compatible import option. If you need to import manually, paste your subscription link into the client's subscription or configuration section. Once the configuration has downloaded, choose a route and connect. If the system asks to add a VPN configuration, confirm it in the interface. After authorization, check the client status and test the website you want to access. Confirm installation, subscription import, and connection separately.

Check your connection: exit location and access

Confirm the active configuration in your client, choose a route in the country or region you need, then connect. When you first get started, keep the client's default settings and avoid changing multiple network options at once. VPNZW covers 90+ countries and offers 150+ routes. Choose a region based on the service you want to use, then compare how the routes perform. The location shown in a route name is more useful than simply picking the first item in the list.

After connecting, check that the client shows an active connection, then open My IP to see your browser's current exit information. If the page shows an old result, refresh and check again. With rule-based routing, different websites may use different routes. A result from one lookup page can't confirm that every app is working, and a system connection indicator alone doesn't prove that a specific service is accessible.

Next, open the website or app you actually want to use and test page loading, sign-in, and its key features. For AI tools, check that a request completes successfully, not just that the homepage loads. For video services, test playback rather than relying on the cover image. The platform may still determine access based on your account, region, and its own rules; a successful connection doesn't grant permission to use that platform.

If the client shows a connection but a website won't load, first confirm the selected configuration and route. Then try another route in the same region and note whether anything changes. Change one thing at a time so you can tell whether the issue is with the configuration, route, or app. If the problem persists, use the Troubleshooting Guide to narrow it down. For general setup and billing questions, see the FAQ.

For further help, submit a support ticket through the user dashboard. Include your device platform, the status shown in the client, the region you selected, and what you were doing when the issue occurred. You can attach an error screenshot after obscuring sensitive information, but don't send your password or full subscription link. Once the connection is verified, keep the working configuration and use the client's subscription update option to refresh the route list when needed. You don't need to reinstall the app each time.
